| The Chinese textbooks for Junior High School Students(trial implementation edition by People Education Press)not only inherit teaching materials and design from previous editions,but also employ the learning elements such as autonomous learning,cooperative learning,exploratory learning,and etc..Among 80 articles of the five textbooks,sixteen are of "modern and contemporary prose",which makes 20%.So it is very important to understand and appreciate prose.The ability of understanding and appreciating prose serves as the belt in the chain of reading abilities.It directly determines readers’ appreciation of modern and contemporary prose,influences readers’ reading acquisition and spiritual richness.However,in the teaching of modern and contemporary prose reading,there are many problems in the cultivation of reading abilities,mainly lying in the theoretical literacy,lack of accumulated experience,insufficient research,paying little attention,less pertinent measures on the teachers’ side and narrow reading range,insufficient reading accumulation,improper comprehensive habits and process and etc.on the students’ side.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter elaborates the function of cultivating the comprehension ability,and defines the prose,comprehension ability,the meaning of prose reading comprehension ability.It also sorts out concerning documents both home and aboard on cultivating comprehension ability of modern and contemporary prose reading and concludes the ideas of the "pre-class,in-class,after-school" micro-research and the strategy of improving comprehension ability of prose reading through documents exploring,investigation,case analysis and other research methods.The second chapter,mainly draws on Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives(revised edition),Instructions on Chinese examination for junior high school students 2017(national volume)and Performance table of junior high students’comprehension ability by Wu Yuan Yue and Liu Caijiao,clarifies the elements of comprehension ability,elaborates the meaning of the elements,compiles the table of reading comprehension elements,and shows the relationship among them through diagrams.Then,it summarizes the elements of the comprehension ability of prose reading;interpretation ability,summarizing ability,conclusion drawing ability,draws out the structural flow chart of prose reading comprehension ability,elaborates the meaning of its elements,and compiles the "Table of the elements of comprehension ability of prose reading".Based on this,the author expounds the main features of improving the comprehension ability of modern and contemporary prose reading:expanding the understanding space in the imagination,enhancing the understanding of emotion in the experience,promoting the understanding when appreciating the charm of phrasing,and leading the development of the understanding through the scientific evaluation,and at the same time,it elaborates the basic requirements of improving the comprehension ability of modern and contemporary prose reading:to understand the framework through the compilation of the texts,to choose the right way to understand the text according to the style,and to understand the essence of the text by experience exploring.The third chapter,the author designs the questionnaire of comprehension ability of prose reading,taking constituent elements,teaching features,basic requirements and cultivating strategies into consideration,so as to conduct a comprehensive survey and analysis on the situation of the cultivation of comprehension ability of prose reading.It also analyzes the affecting factors of the teaching of modern and contemporary prose reading from the aspects of preparation condition of learning,"pre-class,in-class,after-school" reading and training expectations.In the fourth chapter,according to the stylistic and textual characteristics of prose,based on the classroom teaching of prose reading,the author studies the micro"pre-class,in-class,after class" teaching mode of comprehension ability of modern contemporary prose teaching for junior high students.Pre-class strategy is the premise to correct understanding;in-class strategy is the key to effective understanding,after-class strategy is to promote the depth of understanding.The main training strategies are:to understand the background,to feel before analyzing,to expand reading,to read aloud and enhance the feel for the language,to enrich reading accumulation and so on. |
