The Research Of The Influence And Application Of Public History Idea On History Teaching In Senior High School

The research of public history in historian circle has been a rising trend in recent years so that it seems the subject involving social life has become increasingly within the needs of the times to gradually go ahead into people's vision.Whether it is the Chinese localization public history of American public history,both of them have provided the practical researching methods and unique way of thinking for the study of history even though the translation method and opinions of "public history" in China and foreign are different.However,there are only a small number of researches of the senior high school history teaching application in the field of public history.Historians have begun to be aware of the application of public history on history teaching,but they are more focused on the study in the visual angle of the professional history teaching in universities.It will make the innovation of the teaching contents and forms,the promotion of senior high school history teaching reform which improves historical thinking ability and the sense of participation of students sharing historical discourse right if we integrate public history idea into senior high school teaching.There are some research methods adopted in this paper such as the methods of literature researching,questionnaire survey,interview and case study.Firstly,the author describes the public history concept,characteristics and idea applied into history teaching in senior high school by the method of literature research.Then we recognize students'attitude in using public history idea into the teaching practice and understand the possibility of the application of public history idea.in senior high school through the method of the case study,questionnaire and interviews survey.Finally,it will give some suggestion on how public history idea be used in history teaching in senior high school according to the investigation.
