The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward to giving priority to developing education.We will draw on China's splendid traditional culture,keep alive and develop its vision,concepts,values,and moral norms,and do so in a way that responds to the call of our era.With this we will see that Chinese culture maintains its appeal and evolves with the times.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to implement the guiding principles in 19 th National Congress,put the basic gaol of building a man by virtue into action and promote traditional culture in the study of ancient poetry from elective textbook for senior high school.In the course of keeping pace with the times and deepening of the reform,although the achievements of ancient poems compiling in the Chinese elective textbooks of senior high school have made great progress,there still are drawbacks.In order to provide some help for students' further study,the author tries to analyzes the merits and demerits of ancient poetry from elective textbook for senior high school so that we can understand the characteristics of this textbook.This article takes the ancient poetry of the Chinese elective textbook of the senior high school as the research object.The author compares it with the Chinese Education edition,the Su Education edition,the Yue Education edition,the Lu Education edition and other versions of the elective textbook according to the constituent elements of the textbook.this paper analyzes the specific compiling situation of the ancient poems in elective textbooks from the text selection system,the help reading system and the operation system.Then presents the characteristics of compiling in this set of elective textbooks,so as to provide references for the following textbook compilation.Under the guidance of the Chinese curriculum standards and the requirements of the times,the author examines the textbook so as to provide practical and feasible suggestions for the compilers of the textbooks.The framework of this paper is as follows: the introduction part introduces the research background and significance,the research status and trend,the research methods,the basis of the theory and the definition of related concepts.The first chapter uses the quantitative analysis method to calculate the situation of the ancient poems in the selected textbooks of the people's Education edition,the Su Education edition,the Lu Education edition,the Yue Education edition and the Chinese Education edition to provide data support for the analysis of the characteristics of ancient poetry.The second chapter is the main part of the paper,it is found that the people's education edition follows the law of poetry development in the model text system,and more emphasis on the richness of content,the moderate difficulty,the classic,the epochal and exemplary from the span of the model text,the content and the author,the subject and genre.From the six parts of the reading aid system: appreciation and guidance,appreciation of examples,class notes,recommended work leads,related links,summarizes of ancient Chinese poetry,the paper discusses the people's Education edition follows the rules of students' physical and mental development in design ancient poetry reading aids in the elective textbooks.The work system is divided into six cognitive processes and nineteen subcategories by using Anderson's revised version of cognitive objective classification.Through compare and analysis of the ancient poems in the fifth edition of the textbook,it shows that the ancient poems of the people's Education Edition are more in line with the requirements of the core accomplishment of the Chinese language,so as to train the students' logical thinking,critical thinking and beauty-appreciation.In the third chapter,combining with the curriculum standard and General Secretary Xi's requirement for traditional culture,the author puts forward the some suggestions which include increasing the selection of ancient poems,improving student's consciousness of innovation,facilitating the application of modern information technology and enhancing student's patriotism consciousness to the preparation of the ancient poems in the teaching materials for high school in the People's Republic of China.
