Longyan City County Vocational Education Development Research

Vocational education in county area is the most basic education in China.Its development is related to China's economic development in county area.Vocational education provides manpower support for the economic development in county area,and plays an important role in the development of county economy.By the methods of literature research,survey research,comparative analysis,and case study,this paper studies the current situation and problems of county vocational education in Longyan City,analyzes the causes and discusses on how to take countermeasures under the new normal condition.This paper summarizes the current situation of county vocational education in Longyan City from five aspects.Then it analyzes the problems from economic base,degree of recognition,enrollment,and school development,covering concept transformation,government leading,admission competition,specialty setup,etc.The causes are analyzed from nine aspects including the level of economic development,social prejudice against vocational education,government's emphasis on vocational education,poor source of students and imbalanced enrollment proportion,etc.Finally,the countermeasures to promote the development condition are proposed from five aspects including changing concept,improving the degree of recognition,strengthening the investment,integrating resources,deepening reform,etc.
