This thesis mainly studies the Hungarian students' learning motivation types of Chinese language,and analyse validation of whether four factors such as gender,nature,age and learning time have a significant influence on the Chinese learning motivation of Hungarian middle school students,weakening of the Chinese learning motivation and the reason,At the same time,The ultimate aim of the study is to put forward strategies and proposal to motivate and maintain the motivation of Chinese learning in Hungary students,based on the results of the investigation and analysis.Based on the D?rnyei's three level theory of learning motivation,learning motivation theory of Gardner and Lambert,and reference of the classification of learning motivation of middle school students in Hungary.At the same time,combined with the actual situation of the Confucius Institute at The University of Szeged,types of Hungary middle school students' Chinese learning motivation are divided into five categories: integrative motivation,instrumental motivation,external pressure motivation,learning situational motivation and achievement motivation.investigate and analyze the Chinese language learning motivation of 87 middle school students of the Confucius Institute at The University of Szeged Hungary,through designing a questionnaire.The survey results show that: first,the overall Hungarian students Chinese learning motivation is at the middle level,in which,integrative motivation is the strongest motivation,following by achievement type,instrumental type and learning situation type ranked in 3rd and 4th without significant difference,external pressure type was the weakest one.Second,girls' Chinese learning motivation is significantly stronger than that of boys.Age,personality and duration of learning Chinese have no significant impact on Chinese learning motivation of Hungary students.Third,nearly 1/4 of Hungarian middle school students who had been investigated had a weakened motivation.At the end of the study,based on the results of the survey and analysis,we contacted the actual conditions in Hungary and the results of the interviews,We put forward suggestions for stimulating and maintaining the motivation of Hungarian middle school students in learning Chinese.
