The form of classroom teaching has undergone revolutionary changes as the curriculum reforms further development and the group cooperative learning has become a highlight in modern classroom teaching.Cooperative learning focuses on students’ individual differences and different learning needs.It can stimulate students’ awareness of active participation and develop students’ ability to find and solve problems,which is widely applied to classroom teaching reforms in primary and secondary schools of China.The “A” primary school in Shapingba District,Chongqing Municipality,combined its own advantages with development needs,took the opportunity of Chongqing’s Excellent Classroom Five-year Action Plan as an opportunity to creatively promote the construction of a textbook-based “excellent classroom”.Based on the value orientation of “students’ learning as a fundamental and students’ development as a basis”,it carried out cooperative group learning in Chinese,so that the primary classroom would present the characteristics of autonomy,cooperation,and exploration.This paper takes Chinese teachers and students in the fifth and sixth grades of the “A” primary school as the research object to make a full investigation of Chinese cooperative group learning by interviewing teachers,distributing questionnaire to students.After analyzing the data of investigation,the current situation of primary school Chinese cooperative learning group will be pointed out from aspects of the selected topic,the related theoretical basis,implementation,and improvement suggestions.Then,it will sum up the existing problems of cooperative learning group in Chinese,analyze the cause of the problem and put forward targeted suggestions.There are six chapters in this thesis.The first part is the introduction which introduces the reasons,purpose,significance and research status of cooperative learning group in Chinese.The second part gives information about the theoretical basis of group cooperative learning.The third part,based on the data analysis of students’ questionnaire and the teachers’ interview arrangement and analysis,points out the Chinese language classrooms of cooperative learning implementation present situation investigation of the high period of “A” primary school,and sums up the achievements of this kind of learning.The fourth part mainly discusses the problems existing in the cooperative learning of Chinese group and analyzes the causes.The fifth part puts forward strategies,considering problems arising in the implementation process of cooperative learning in Chinese,to improve teaching quality and promote the all-round development of students in A primary school.The last part is a summary.
