Teachers are the main force of the curriculum reform of basic education,and the quality of teachers plays a vital role in the curriculum reform of basic education.There is a series of teacher education reform has been carried out,but from the current development of teacher education,there are still some problems: lack of evaluation methods of training process,and no effective cooperation with primary and secondary school in education practice.The development of teacher education in America is very early,and America has the most mature teacher education quality assurance system.It is of great significance to study the quality assurance measures of initial teachers in the United States to carry out the reform of Teacher Education in China.This study is collected of relevant policy articles on initial education in the United States,taking the University of California,Los Angeles as an example.Based on Teachers' professional standards and teacher education program certification standards,analysis of the internal and external quality assurance measures in California teacher education program.In order to sum up the experience of quality assurance for initial teacher education in America,and give some inspiration for the quality assurance of the teacher education in China.In addition to the introduction,this study is divided into five parts:The first part is discussed requirements of the Model Core Teaching Standards and Professional Standards for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.Teachers should understand students' learning differences,grasp education and discipline knowledge,reasonably evaluate and analyze students' learning process,and take personal morality as an example to have a positive impact on students.Educator Preparation gives specific standards to the measures for the quality assurance of the curriculum,partners,enrolment and graduation of the initial teacher education program.According to the annual report of teacher training in California system,The second part analyzed the present situation of initial teacher education about student selection,curriculum structure and graduation requirements.It is concluded that there are various ways of initial teacher education in California,the education practice course is highly valued,admission conditions and graduation conditions are strict.The number of teachers participating in initial teacher education program has increased slightly after three years' decline.The third part,analysis of the external quality assurance measures for the teacher education project in California.Based on the government's evaluation of teacher education projects and Certification requirements for teachers' qualifications by the Committee on qualification certification of Teachers.Get the conclusion,California teacher project evaluation method focuses on data and analysis.The certification of teachers' qualification attaches great importance to the coordinated development of the teaching knowledge and teaching ability.The fourth part,take UCLA as an example to analyze the quality assurance measures for the teacher education in Colleges and universities.From entry requirements,training strategies and graduation requirements,this paper points out that California university teacher education project has many characteristics,such as multiple training modes,emphasis on Teachers' ability and strict graduation requirements.The fifth part,through the analysis of the teacher education project in California,draws some inspiration to the teacher education in China:The curriculum of teacher education should be set up closely and pay attention to the training of teachers' social responsibility.It is necessary to pay attention to the assessment of educational results.We should increase the proportion of educational practice and improve the cooperation between normal universities and primary and secondary schools.We should explore the means of modernization and realize the transparent sharing of the information of education.
