Objective: Based on the understanding of the body self-esteem of hearing impaired middle school students,this study explores the impact of track and field training on their physical self-esteem,and summarizes the academic characteristics of body self-esteem development.Research Methods: The study focused on the influence of track and field training on physical self-esteem of students with hearing impairment.The physical self-esteem of hearing impaired middle school students and ordinary middle school students was tested by psychometric methods before the experiment;middle school students with hearing impairment were divided into an experimental group and a control group.Each group consisted of 8 junior high school students and 8 high school students,totaling 16 people,all males..The experimental group took 12 weeks of track and field training,and the control group did not perform any physical training.At the end of the experiment,the physical self-esteem of the two groups was compared through mathematical statistics.Results:(1)Hearing impaired middle school students scored lower in the five dimensions of physical self-worth,athletic ability,physical condition,physical attractiveness,and physical fitness than ordinary middle school students,and the exercise ability dimension showed significant differences.The five dimensions of physical self-esteem of hearing-impaired students were lower than those of ordinary junior high school students.The difference in athletic ability was significant.In addition to physical attraction,the four dimensions of physical self-esteem of hearing-impaired high school students were lower than those of ordinary high school students,and the difference in exercise ability was significant.(2)There was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the exercise ability dimension;the physical quality dimension showed a significant difference;the other three dimensions had no significant difference,but the experimental group increased more.(3)The difference of exercise ability between the experimental group and the control group at the middle and early stage of the experiment was very significant.The level of the experimental group in the physical condition dimension decreased,and the increase in the other three dimensions of the experimental group was greater.(4)Before and after the experiment,there was a very significant difference in the exercise ability between the experimental group and the control group in the high school and the control group.There was a significant difference in the physical status dimension.The experimental group had a greater increase in the other three dimensions.In addition to the exercise ability dimension in the control group,the other four dimensions appeared to be lower than the pre-experimental phenomenon after the experiment.Conclusions:(1)On the whole,the level of physical self-esteem in hearing impaired middle school students is lower than that of ordinary middle school students.The level of physical attractiveness in the body self-esteem of hearing impaired middle school students is higher than that of ordinary high school students.(2)Track and field training promotes the level of physical self-esteem of students with hearing impairment,and can significantly improve the level of physical ability and physical fitness in students with hearing impairment.(3)For junior students with hearing impairment,track and field training can improve the level of four dimensions in body self-esteem,and the effect of improving athletic ability is obvious.It has a weak negative effect on the body condition dimension in body self-esteem.(4)Track and field training can improve the level of physical self-esteem in hearing impaired high school students in five dimensions,in which the exercise ability dimension and physical condition dimension increase the effect.
