With the continuous improvement of the level of modernization,the service industry with the outstanding characteristics of emotional work in the tertiary industry in China has become a key area for absorbing the urban life of migrant rural workers.However,in order to grasp the unique competitive advantage in the fierce service industry,in addition to relying on high-quality products itself,the customer-oriented emotional release of employees in the service process is also particularly important.The new generation of migrant workers engaged in the emotional work of urban hairdressers not only demonstrated the special occupational characteristics of their emotional work,but also carried out the construction of their urban identity behind their deliberate emotional work.In order to enrich the individual's urban emotional experience through the satisfaction of personal emotions behind emotional work,they must strengthen their recognition of citizenship.However,subject to the common fault of emotional work,there are overlaps in the work areas and in the private sector,as well as the confusion between private emotions and labor emotions of urban barbers.They questioned the external emotional feedback and their own emotional contributions.The complex intertwined emotions not only virtually obscured their urban emotional experience,loosened their emotional connection with the city,but also caused their own urban identity crisis.Therefore,aggravating all kinds of emotional consumption has become an important means for the new generation of migrant workers working in the city as barbers to make up for the lack of turban emotions and obtain urban identity.Based on the relevant theories of sociology,this article uses questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews to analyze the emotional practice of urban barbers from rural area by analyzing their emotional consumption.The article is divided into the following five parts:The first part,introduction.It mainly includes the issues raised,the purpose and significance of research,the definition of related concepts,research methods and ideas.The second part is the emotional consumption of urban barbers from rural area.Including the basic situation of the surveyed subjects and the emotional consumption of urban barbers from rural area.The third part is the transformation of the identity construction of the urban barbers from rural area.That is to say,from weakening the differential consumption of external institutional peasant identity to imitative convergent consumption that draws closer to urban identity,to the emotional management process from the living to the guest,a network of urban interpersonal relationships from a living person to an acquaintance is established.The process of urban emotional experience.In the fourth part,the author explores the practical logic of the emotional consumption of urban barbers from rural area.Emotional labor has caused urban barbers from rural area to question the emotions they have received.This disappointing urban emotional experience has led to a crisis of their urban identity.Therefore,they compensate for the emotional needs caused by lack of emotion in the way of emotional consumption.In the fifth part,according to the research situation,some suggestions for promoting the urbanization of rural migrant workers are proposed.
