A Study Of Fathers' Participation In Cooperation Between Families And Kindergartens

Maternal love is like the water while the paternal love the mountains.The functions of a good father cannot be replaced even if there are hundreds of teachers and principals.Because the kids' behaviors,characteristics and habits are affected by their fathers' manners and behaviors.Fathers' unique influence and force for the growth and development of kids cannot be replaced by anyone.However,the current situation of Chinese parents' participation in kindergarten education shows that the father's participation is in a low rate,comparing with the relatively high rate of the mothers'.It means that the father's unique and irreplaceable effects for children's growth and development are seriously ignored.As a result,the cooperation between families and kindergartens needs the extensive participation of fathers.Kids' growth needs to attract fathers' active attention and the in-depth exploration of the father's participation in the cooperation between kindergartens and families during preschool education has its practical significance.This thesis is based on the survey of kids' fathers from eight kindergartens in Luoyang.On the basis of the analysis of relevant domestic and overseas documents,consulting the research achievements and perspectives from the former scholars,the father's participation in the cooperation between kindergartens and families during preschool education is researched through questionnaires and the interviews with preschool teachers,kids,kids' fathers and mothers.The whole survey includes the father's understanding of participating in preschool education and the frequency,contents,ways and gains of his participation,to comprehensively analyze the current situation of fathers' participation.With these data,this thesis intends to identify the existing problems in the process of participation and the reasons of the problems.Moreover,the corresponding suggestions for fathers,families,kindergartens and the society are hoping to be proposed to improve fathers' participating level and abilities.As a result,fathers could participate in and play their own roles in the entire growth process of kids.
