Objective:The application of core strength training in the field of fitness for the elderly is still at an exploratory stage. The focus of this paper is the influence of core strength training on the balance ability of the elderly.Balance ability is a basic ability of the human body, and it is particularly important for the healthy development of the elderly.Through a 12-week training for the experimental group of the core strength training and the control group according to the original individual exercise pattern, the exercise ability and physical characteristics of the elderly were formulated, and the prescription for the core strength training was formulated and exercised. After the experiment, the control group was trained.Comparing and analyzing the balance ability indicators of the experimental group and analyzing the changes in balance ability, studying the influence of the core strength training on the balance ability from different angles, demonstrating the fitness value of the core strength training, thereby enriching the exercise methods of the elderly and improving the health status of the elderly,To reduce the occurrence of falls in the elderly, provide new exercise ideas and training methods for the exercise of the elderly. Methods:The subjects were recruited in the Niujie Geriatric Association in Xicheng District of Beijing.Through the pre-exercise screening questionnaire for healthy physical fitness institutions, they were screened for heartlessness and cerebrovascular disease,no vision impairment,no exercise taboo disease, good health, and exercise habits. There were 20 elderly people who had no metabolic disease and voluntarily participated in exercise, including 10 males and 10 females.Twenty old people were randomly divided into the A control group and the experimental group B by 10 subjects. The average age was58.4±9.36 and the average body weight was 59.2±6.24.Group A exercise according to the original individual exercise, group B through core strength training. The main core strength training programs include “dumbbells, deadlifts, crossovers, back bridges, and side bridges”.The balance ability exercise consists of blinking left and right feet standing on one foot and left/right feet standing on one foot with closed eyes.In order to make the exercise effect more remarkable,a balance exercise in the state of unstable support surface is also designed to increase the sense of propriety.Stimulation promotes coordination between the muscular and nervous systems and mobilizes vestibular function to participate in training. In this study, the training on the mat was mainly for abdominal muscles and back and hip exercises.Training frequency is twice a week,90 minutes each time. Both balance and FMS tests were performed before and after the experiment.Research results:1.After the 1.12 weeks of core strength training, the P value of the experimental groupbefore and after the experiment was less than 0.05,with significant differences, indicating that the core strength training can significantly improve the elderly dynamic and static balance.2.There were significant differences in FMS test index before and after the experiment in the experimental group(P<0.05),indicating that the flexibility and symmetry and stability of the core training prescription designed in this study were improved.3.There was no significant difference in static and dynamic balance between the control group and the control group(P>0.05).P values were between 0.32 and 0.56.It shows that the low-load,repetitive and simple exercise content has no obvious effect on improving the balance ability of the elderly.4.At present, the elderly are still aware of the importance of developing core strength training and balance training. They are mostly based on repeated, easy, and light-loaded forms of exercise. They must be guided scientifically.
