The main purpose of this study is to add S-E-T training to regular strength training, to observe that whether the new type of strength training can enhance the greatest strength of volleyball player's core strength effectively, and to further explore its effects on the spring power and static balance of volleyball player. In addition, this article will discuss the main notes of the S-E-T training with the author's training time, and the relationship between S-E-T training and traditional strength training. And the most important thing is to provide a new method and basis for the volleyball player's physical training with this study.In this paper, several kinds of methods are used, such as literature date, expert interviews, mathematical statistics, experimental research, etc. This article's subjects are sixteen male athletes who come from 2008 Volleyball specifically selected class in Beijing sports University. Based on measured data before the experiment, the subjects are divided into experimental and control groups. Through 9 weeks'strength training, analyzing and discussing each indicator's changes of the experimental subjects' core strength in power capacity with DAVID, physical ability of static balance with Good Balance and spring power.The following research conclusions are achieved:(1) Volleyball players having S-E-T training scientifically can improve their static balance ability effectively. Through this study we found that the static balance ability of the subjects in experimental group had been greatly improved through 9 weeks' S-E-T training, as the core part being the main training part. While the static balance ability of the subjects in comparing group have not been improved clearly, in some indicators, their static balance ability even appears declining trend (P<0.05)(2) S-E-T training has a more significant effect on improving the spring ability of volleyball athletes. The subjects in experimental group have more significant increasing value in the height they can reach during run-up, the average of 4 heights they can reach during cross step running, and three indicators of standing long jump, triple long jump, and leapfrog than the subjects in comparing group (P<0.05)(3) S-E-T training has a significant effect on improving the core strengths'maximum torque value of the Volleyball specifically selected class's athletes. Two groups of subjects'eight kinds of digital values in body sat and flexing forwards, stretching back, flexing left and right, turn around, and both thighs stretching backwards have changed significantly compared with the digital values before the experiment (P<0.01). Among them, except the increase in maximum torque value of the arm big muscle does not have the statistical significant, the other six digital values have significant differences compared with comparing group (P<0.05)(4) S-E-T training is an effective method of strength training for volleyball player. Its main functions are to improve the athlete's balance ability, strengthen the core strength and increase energy output rate. All of these have positive significance for volleyball players.
