China has entered a society in which the problem about the aged becomes a public concern.Influenced by Chinese culture,family pension is the main priority to other ways of old-aged care which leads to deeply dependence on community.The elders who live in those old communities pretend to show some characteristics of confused,having concept lag,lacking of communal participation and interpersonal indifference.After retirement,the elders life center has transferred to daily life which includes spouse,children,neighbors and friends,and they need to reestablishment new relationship and enhance the sense of belonging.In the old community which i did the practice the elders accounted for a large proportion.After unfolding overall investigation in the elders in this community,the author summarized the faces of the elders of the community communication problems.Uphold the values of social work,supported by the theory of social activities,and using the method of group work,the author designed a set of body health the group plan.by guiding the elders to pay much attention to mental and physical health,build a platform for them to enhance their association.the purpose of this plan is that the elders could participate in community activities on their own initiative,establish a good interpersonal relationship and sense of belonging in social communication,seek out self affirmation and set a new life goals.In short,the author approach social work intervention in the assessment of interpersonal problems of the elderly in pension.Sum up experience and reflection transaction problem and add a beneficial exploration in the social work intervention urban old community elderly group work.
