Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the historical teaching has brought up new demands for the history learning of students in order to change the status of emphasis on knowledge-transference and neglect of ability training.The status of history course is higher than ever in Changyi in recent years,which can be seen from the emphasis on the examination of basic knowledge in history course and the new demands for the ability of applying knowledge in history course.The examination reflects the demand for the ability cultivation of students at the request of the quality-oriented education.Quality education and examination ability are not opposed to each other,the difference between them is the demand of the ability of taking examinations of students.The research of examination ability in this paper is the historical examination ability under the background of new curriculum reform.This essay explores the problems and causes in the process of history teaching by taking the ability of learning and application of junior middle school students in Yuxiu School as an example.It aims at improving the learning efficiency and outcomes and the ability and skill of taking examinations by arousing students' learning interest and getting into learning groove on class through effective learning model and teaching method.Through the design,distribution,recovery and analysis of the students' history test ability questionnaire,we can understand the whole situation of students' history learning,and find out the problems existing in the history study.Differences in the understanding of these students in the examinations can be found through the research of the case.In respect of the condition of school,and the purpose of improving students testing ability in the course of history,we came up with the mind mapping,combat training method,which could improve the relation between the change of traditional teaching and learning in the process of continuous learning,gradually develop their own thinking of the history of the discipline,a better understanding and application of basic knowledge to achieve academic thinking and enhance the ability to enhance the combination to provide a useful reference for the history exam to enhance the ability of junior middle school students.
