With the rapid development of badminton,the number of college students who play badminton are greatly increasing.However,majority of them still adopt the traditional training methods while exercising strength.The understanding of core strength in college students' mind seems to be one-sided.What is worse,the training of core strength can hardly be seen during the process of strength training due to the fact that some of college students have no idea about core strength at all.As is can be seen,such situation is not beneficial for improving the tactical skills of college badminton players.This thesis adopts literature study,experimentation and mathematical statistics.Experimental research as well as theoretical analysis will be done when it comes to the application of core strength training in college badminton training.This aims to explore the differences on both the body diathesis and tactical skills of college badminton players between core strength training and traditional strength training.In addition,some feasible suggestions can be put forward so as to provide some references for the improvement of college badminton players' skills and methods of badminton training.26 college badminton players in the badminton team of Gannan Normal University were selected in this research.They were divided into two groups,the experimental group and the control group.During the experiment,the experimental group used the core strength training method in the core area,while the control group used the traditional strength training method in the core area,the other training contents were the same.After eight weeks of training,members of these two groups were asked to do the test of five special physical quality indicators and five technical indexes of the badminton,and the statistical analysis was carried out through the data before and after the experiment.The results show that the special physical quality of the two groups are improved,and the score of experimental group significantly improved than the control group,the differences between the two groups of test scores ten points after the experiment run low center of gravity four significant difference after the experiment,the badminton throw in situ two groups of test results is extremely significant.In the two groups after strength training after the special technology has improved significantly,the experimental group special technical test results are generally better than the control group,forehand backcourt lofty ball after the experiment of two groups of test scores showed significant difference,forehand smash,the net to pick the ball after the experiment of two groups of test scores is a very significant difference.Core strength training can effectively improve the College Badminton Athletes' special physical quality,and the effect is better than the traditional strength training.The core strength training and traditional strengthtraining can improve the quality of college badminton players and batting skills,but the effect of core strength training is more obvious than that of traditional strength training.
