Theory of Learned helplessness is reported by the American psychologist Seligman.Learned helplessness means some kinds of special mentation after organism's negative experiences,it contains emotional,cognitive and behavioral performance of mind.The reasons for the rural primary school students' acquisition of language learned helplessness are complex.There are external and internal reasons.The survey found that learned helplessness in Chinese learning of rural primary students is of medium level.Students with different levels of achievement also have difference in learned helplessness.Generally speaking,students with poor academic performance are better than those who have good grades.However,the strongest is below average students.In general,boys' language learned helplessness is more higher than girls'.Based on the survey and the existing theory of acquired helplessness,combined with the characteristics of rural language learning,the measures of intervention are proposed:,Step by step,students can experience success;Attribution training for students to adopt the problem-oriented stategy;Emotional management keep students away from negative emotions.
