Through the development of human historyit can be found that physical education plays an important r ole in social progress and development.And there are different forms of expression in different countries.There are 56 ethnic groups in our country.The traditional sports of different nationalities bear the different spirit and emotion,national character and historical culture of different nationalities.In the long history of the evolution of the nation,the national sports has important functions.Modern sports programs are mostly developed from the traditional sports of the world,so national sports as the most basic,the most primitive forms of sports,should be protected,mining and promotion.National traditional sports culture is an important part of our national traditional culture,its valuable culture provides boundless resources for sports teaching.School sports are popularized widely and there are many students participating in the crowd.Systemic is strong.The teachers site form is flexible which offered the national traditional sports culture a development platform.This paper takes Shandong province ordinary university campus national sports culture as the subject.Using literature,questionnaire,expert interview method,logic analysis,mathematical statistics research methods,To carry out the analysis and Discussion on the situation of the national sports activities in Colleges and universities in Shandong Province?draw the conclusion and put forward some suggestions.The aim is to effectively carry out and popularize national sports activities in Colleges and universities in Shandong province and even in the whole country.forming a national sports campus culture.realizing the diversified campus sports culture.conclusions:(1)The definition of national sports culture: Contains material culture,spiritual culture,system culture,behavior culture from four aspects.(2)Material culture aspects: under the impact of the modern sports,national sports culture in shandong province ordinary university campus didn't get the attention,the open content is relatively single,basically gives priority to martial arts;Basic equipment and facilities can meet the needs of the existing and teaching activities.(3)The spirit of the national ordinary university campus sports culture: In ordinary colleges and universities in shandong province,most of the students think of national traditional sports can strengthen physical health,the entertainment body and mind,ease the pressure,etc.But for the national spirit,the concept of national sports culture is not very strong.Students don't form good habits of national traditional sports and culture.(4)Aspects of system culture: various colleges and universities have established the national sports association,but the content of the project design is not much,basically is given priority to countless,community organizations have a series of rules and regulations.The teachers seldom take part in the activities.(5)the behavior aspects: most if the students said they would like to attend,but actually participated in the national traditional sports activities were small,but the content is richer,Mainly by the association organizations to participate in the organization or yourself,friends,colleges and universities in Shandong province in the teaching of the male body of national sports curriculum content of the single,basic is given priority with martial arts,there is no corresponding game training team organization,few schools participated in the school organization of national traditional sports.(6)Affecting the national sports culture development in shandong province ordinary university campus are the main factors: the impact of modern sports,no relevant national policies and regulations to guide,lack of professional teachers,school teachers,the limitation of the understanding of national traditional sports,etc.
