The rational development and utilization of history curriculum resources is the inevitable requirement of the new curriculum reform.As an important curriculum resource,historical documentary has wide application value and broad application prospect in history teaching in middle school because of its intuitive,vivid and real characteristics.Its application not only helps to improve the students' humanistic literacy,learning interest and historical thinking ability,but also helps to enhance the history teachers' professional ability,teaching ability and research ability.The "General History of China",a 100-episode historical documentary,integrates the latest research results of many well-known experts and scholars,respects historical facts,is objective and fair,and uses a large number of three-dimensional technology.The visual and auditory effects are very remarkable.Its application in history teaching in middle school can be designed as experiential teaching,research-based teaching and critical teaching.In order to fully excavate its knowledge value,ability value,method value,aesthetic value and character value,improve the quality of history teaching.In the middle school history teaching,the history documentary "General History of China" is used to carry out experiential teaching.Firstly,by creating a relaxed and harmonious teaching environment and creating a historical atmosphere of emotional experience,students can take the initiative to participate and think.It is helpful to stimulate students' interest in learning.Secondly,through the development of hands-on experience of practical activities for students to provide a stage to show themselves,in the activities to experience history,experience history,help to improve students' thinking ability and practical level.In the aspect of inquiry teaching,the application of the historical documentary "General History of China" in the basic course,the expanding course and the inquiry course pays attention to the inquiry process to gradually improve the students' autonomous learning ability.In the aspect of critical teaching,the historical documentary "General History of China" can be regarded as "evidence","doubt" and "contradiction".Construct students' rational critical thinking,cultivate students' habit of independent thinking and cause students' emotional collision of thinking,improve students' ability to put forward and solve problems.The application of historical documentary in history teaching in middle school can give full play to the characteristics and advantages of historical documentary,and it can play a surprising good effect.However,the audience of historical documentary is,after all,ordinary people,different from middle school students.Therefore,how to apply documentary in history teaching in middle school needs careful identification and scientific and reasonable selection.
