In order to meet the requirements of the development of the times,the Ministry of Education has revised The Standard of Physics Curriculum for Compulsory Education many times,and gradually transferred the right of compiling teaching materials to the local authorities,thus forming the situation of "one outline and more books".In 2012,different versions of the textbooks,various in the level of editors and the focus of the compilation of teaching materials,were published across the country in accordance with the new physics curriculum standards.Therefore,the quality of teaching materials and layout style has become teachers' concern.This study,based on the buoyancy chapter,compares the existing six editions of physics textbooks in junior high school in order to explore the methods and perspectives of the current applicable textbooks.The contents and methods of this thesis are as follows:1)Literature review.First,by combing the literature of master's and doctor's thesis,papers and books,this thesis clarifies the characteristics of the research on the quality of textbooks and the construction of textbook evaluation indexes at home and abroad,which provides the basis for determining the dimensions and perspectives of textbook comparison later on.2)Theoretical research.Through the interpretation of cognitive learning theory,students' affective factors and the standard of compulsory curriculum,8 comparative dimensions and 9 comparative perspectives of textbook comparison are preliminarily formulated.The comparative dimensions of the textbook are catalogues,illustrations,contents,charts,experiments,exercises,columns,notes.The comparative perspectives are whether the content of the textbook is correct,whether the content of the textbook is alive,whether the content of the textbook is consistent with the curriculum,whether the content of the textbook reflects scientific ideas,whether the case of textbook selection is typical,whether the logic of the knowledge of the textbook is clear,whether the arrangement of teaching materials is beneficial to teaching,whether the arrangement of textbooks conforms to the law of students' physical and mental development,and whether the printing,size and binding of textbooks conform to the specifications.3)Determine the dimensions and perspectives of textbook comparison.Through interviewing two middle school physics teaching experts,6 comparative dimensions are ultimately determined.4)Comparison of buoyancy chapters.Compare the buoyancy chapters with the dimensions and perspectives after the experts' selection.Through the comparison of the 6 dimensions and 8 perspectives,the teaching materials' merits and demerits are judged,thus determining the dimensions and perspectives of the comparison of teaching materials developed in this study,and reflecting on the shortcomings of the study.5)Organize the content of buoyancy chapters.In this paper,the author rearranges the content of buoyancy chapters in combination with the advantages of each edition of textbooks in order to provide some teachers with reference in physics teaching.
