Modern poetry is a new form of poetry written in vernacular,based on the inheritance and development of classical poetry.Its highly concise language,distinctive rhythm,natural artistic conception and rich emotions endow modern poetry with a unique and charming art form in Chinese literary history as well as a treasure of wisdom in Chinese literary domains.The Second Farewell to Cambridge,canonized as a piece of master work in Chinese modern poety,is a classic one of the works of Chinese well-known poet Xu Zhimo.There are abundant connotation,liguistic art and the creative strategies in it,which contribute to students' abilities of appreciating poetry and aesthetics.Furthermore,this piece of work has been bibliographized in many textbooks,in which its high value for teaching is emerged.Therefore,this article chooses an outstanding lesson example of Second Farewell to Cambridge designed by Zheng Yinong,Li Zhenxi and Cheng Xiang as research object.Through comparing and analyzing the different teaching methods of same text,the auther concluds their respective charateristics and seek to trigger off deep refelection of teaching modern poetry.This article includs three parts—the introduction,main part and conclusion and the main body is divided into three chapters.The introduction part mainly consists of reasons for selecting material,the research summary and the research significance.The first chapter is the background of Second Farewell to Cambridge.At first,an brief introduction of the content and arrangement of this poetry,the characteristics of teaching methods and three kinds of course flow of these three teachers was given.Then the author presents the position and value of this poetry in Chinese literary field and in Chinese language teaching.At last the author summed up different teaching styles of three teachers in teaching the same text.The second chapter mainly focuses on spesific similarities and differences through the comparison among the three course examples in terms of lead-in process,teaching content and organization,which is the key part of this paper.This part gives the teachers who teach modern poetry a sound example and inspiration.The third chapter expands chapter 2 in refelection and inspiration in three different aspects—teachers,teaching content and organization.This is the essence of this article,and the basis of analyzing Second Farewell to Cambridge.The conclusion part is the embodiment of the research fruits of the whole thesis.On the basis of summarizing the whole article,this part pays attention to teachers,teaching content and class organization and draws conclusions that teachers should have self-improvement in teaching modern poetry,design teaching content from feeling portic art and manipulate the class orgazation in accordance with experience of students.
