Textbook is an important carrier of the curriculum and classroom teaching, and every section of its components plays an important role in the cultivation of students' Chinese attainments. The new edition of textbooks, which is compiled decades after the implementation of Chinese new round of curriculum reform,is directly responsible for and organized by the Ministry of Education(MOE version),and has a direct impact on the curriculum and teaching reform in the future. The textbook of JiangSu(Sue version),as a self-compiled textbook from a high-qualified educational area, has also been used by many schools for more than ten years. This study organizes and compares the overall, unit structure, selection system and text elements of the two version's seventh grade Chinese course. The advantages and disadvantages of the two editions and their effectiveness in teaching are discussed from three aspects: the knowledge of Chinese, the needs of social development and the physical and mental development needs of students in the seventh grade.Six parts are included:Part One,Preference. In this part, the reasons for choosing the topic and the analyzsis of the relevant research at home and abroad are illustrated, and the purpose and method of the study is determined.Part Two,Summary of Chinese Textbooks and Related Theories.First, the concept of Chinese textbooks is defined, and its creation and development process are discussed, and then, the theoretical basis of the compilation of Chinese textbooks for the seventh grade is analyzed.Part Three,A Comparison of the Idea and Overview of Textbook Compilation, which mainly compares the compilation ideas of Sue version and MOE version, summarizes the Chinese textbook of the seventh grade, and analyzes the textbook from a macro perspective.Part Four,The Comparisons of Unit Structure and Select Text. There are great differences between the unit elements of Sue version and MOE version. This part mainly analyzes the compiling features of the two editions and the characteristics of the selected texts.Part Five, the Comparisons of Curriculum Structure. In this part,a same text of two versions is selected, and the cognitive learning,non-directive teaching and dialogue teaching are taken as the theoretical basis,so as to compare the teaching effects of each column.Part Six,Summary and Reflection.Through the comparison and analysis of the various elements in the textbook, the advantages and disadvantages and the teaching effectiveness of the two editions are discussed, and suggestions of the compilation are offered from three aspects: course, society, and student.Through a comprehensive comparison, the MOE version deeply fulfills the requirements of Chinese language teaching standards, actively draws on the educational ideas and practical experiences at home and abroad, fully grasps the characteristics of Chinese course, improves students' Chinese attainments, puts Chinese course into a great play for students' self and social development. The difficulty level of the selection system and the knowledge system is moderate, the study assistant system and the homework assignment system are fully operated and flexibly set up.On the basis of guaranteeing the basic knowledge system of the course, the space for local schools and teachers to play independently is left to the maximum extent. The entire structure is better than the Sue version.Sue version,as a self-compiled textbook from a high-qualified educational area,is delicately designed and vividly illustrated, the selected texts focus on classical and epochal characteristics, and it is worthwhile for the MOE version to draw lessons for the compilation in the future.
