In the context with an increasing number of new startup companies in our country, entrepreneurial teams, which gradually replace the entrepreneurial individuals, have become the main force of the present economic world in order to accord with the trend of the times. Characteristics, such as knowledge of various subjects, ample skills and a wide range of information source, are required because of the high risks and uncertainties of entrepreneurial activities. Different teams have different characteristics, which represents the team heterogeneity of entrepreneurial teams. The exploration of the imapct of team heterogeneity on the team atmosphere and entrepreneurial performance helps the companies to build excellent teams, strengthen the cooperation awareness among the members, improve the communication effect and stimulate creative ideas, so as to improve entrepreneurial performance.This dissertation aims to explore the relationship among entrepreneurial team heterogeneity, team atmosphere and entrepreneurial performance with the team atmosphere as the intermediary variable. Firstly, it defines the concepts of team heterogeneity, team atmosphere and entrepreneurial performance. Then it gives a mechanism analysis of their relationships based on resource-based theory and team-process theory, builds a theoretical mode and proposes a research hypothesis. Following that, it designs a research plan with data collections, including: the design of a measurement scale and the questionnaires, the collections of data, descriptive statistical analysis of the questionaires, and the test of accuracy and effect of the measurement scale. Then, it tests the research hypothesis through the variance analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and intermediary effect analysis of data using SPSS19.0. The results prove that team heterogeneity has a positive impact on entrepreneurial performance. yet entrepreneurial team value heterogeneity has no positive impact on entrepreneurial performance. Team heterogeneity has a positive impact on team atmosphere, and team atmosphere has a positive impact on entrepreneurial performance. Part of intermediary effect is achieved by team atmosphere between team heterogeneity and entrepreneurial performance. Finally, this dissertation analyzes and discusses the research results and proposes optimization strategies from the perspectives of entrepreneurial team heterogeneity and team atmosphere, hoping to improve a company's entrepreneurial performance.
