As an important component of hi-tech development of the country,national major scientific instrumentation and device development is also a pivotally strategic measure not only for the capacity improvement of the independent innovation of scientific instrumentation and device,but also for the economic construction and social development.Since the implementation of China's 12 th five-year planning,the focus range and orientation of the scientific instrumentation development have been stipulated definitely,involving the knowledge and skills of the forefront filed covering varied disciplines.What's more,the investment and requirement of technological achievements have been stretched to an unprecedented new height.Under these conditions,the traditional quality control methods can not meet the requirement of the development of major scientific instrumentations any more.So considering the complex and significant impact of development process of major scientific instrumentation,the research on new quality control methods from the viewpoint of process based on the theories of Q-Gate and CMM has been done.Firstly,the importance and necessity of implementing quality control of instrumentation development process has been emphasized through a brief overview of quality management development as well as current research on quality for scientific instrumentation development projects at home and abroad.Meanwhile,the theories of Q-Gate and CMM have been summarized to provide a solid theory foundation for the following construction of quality control system aimed at the development process of the major scientific instrumentation.Secondly,with the development process of major scientific instrumentation at the core,the quality control system is constructed: the concrete analysis and life-cycle division of instrumentation development process has been done based on the theory of whole life cycle;the functional key quality activities haved been chosen combined with organization structure of the project development team;Q-Gates have been established not only to conduct quality review of the periodic quality of the whole development process but also to monitor the performance of the quality activities with quality tools;the quality control capacity of maturity model for major scientific instrumentation is established to evaluate and improve the quality control capacity of Q-Gates so as to constantly improve and optimize the quality of the whole project as well as the major scientific instrumentation.Lastly,taking some analytical instrumentation project based on the theory of reaction kinetics for the example to describe and analyze specifically the development process with the constructed quality control system.The research shows that the quality control system has a significant advantage over traditional quality control methods not only in the improvement for the allocation of rights and liabilities and the quality consciousness of team members,but also in constantly improving and optimizing the quality of the development process and the major scientific instrumentation.
