A Study Of Resources And Environment Carrying Capacity In Western China

Since the reform and opening up, China's economy maintained rapid growth for many years, but at the same time, accelerating the consumption of various resources, deteriorating ecological environment, the relationship between economic development and environmental protection increasingly tense. Country western region since 2000 since the western development strategy, after ten years of rapid development, its excessive consumption of resources, environmental damage is particularly serious. China's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" made it clear that the face of increasingly enhanced resource and environmental constraints, accelerate the construction of resource-saving and environment-friendly production and consumption patterns, and enhance capacity for sustainable development, improve the level of ecological civilization. In this context, the paper carrying capacity of the environment in the western region of resources systematic comparative study has important practical significance.In this paper, the basic theory concepts, resources and environment carrying capacity, the theory of sustainable development, and coordination of the theory of the sort; for resources in the region, environment, economic development west, using descriptive statistical methods were compared systematically studied; foothold systematic, typical, dynamic, scientific, comprehensive, regional resources to build the capacity of the environment comprehensive evaluation system, including the level of resource capacity, the level of economic development and environmental carrying capacity of the three-level indicators, sixteen secondary indicators; to the west in 2004 to 2010 data samples, using factor analysis of resource capacity, environmental carrying capacity and economic development of the western region carried out a comprehensive analysis and draw resources in the western region on the basis of comprehensive evaluation value environmental carrying capacity, as well as the coordination of the environment and the level of economic development resources. The results show that: the lower the carrying capacity of resources and environment in the western region, country showing a clear trend of East West, but the time point of view, from 2004 to the overall carrying capacity of resources and environment on the western provinces in 2010 increased year by year trends, resources and environment coordination degree of economic development and gradually became better; Finally, based on the current situation in the western region, make relevant suggestions to improve the environmental carrying capacity of resources in the western region.
