The Study Of Supplier Evaluation Index Based On Green Supply Chain

After the Second World War, with the prosperous development of economy, the enormous social wealth has been accumulated. However, at the mean time, there are lot of environmental problems appeared such as shortage of energy, deterioration of ecosystem,air pollution and so on. It is agreed that the setup of green supply chain system be necessary by adding environment management into supply chain management with the effort by both buyers and vendors.The greenness of supply chain requires that no pollution, no waste, no toxic in the production process, whose management model should be conducted in the whole supply chain to setup the green alliance. Supplier management in the green supply chain will give the direct impact on logistics cost, cash follow status, product cost and environment improvement cost of the whole supply chain. The enhancement of environment management in the supply chain is the representation of sustainable development on the procurement, a critical factor of the success of implementation of green supply chain and, an express way of social responsibility of the organization.Supplier selection is the core of supplier management, and the setup of supplier evaluation index, which shall be scientific, reasonable, operational, will help the organization choose the partners which have the same development strategy with buyers. The good operation between the buyers and suppliers will improve the environment performance of the buyers.Currently the study on the supplier index under the green supply chain is limited. From the background, this thesis gives the introduction of the development of green supply chain, supplier evaluation indexes, evaluation methods of supplier indexes and then setup a new supplier index system in the principal of supplier evaluation, 5 dimensions and 24 indexes. FAHP is adopted for the modeling and case study. In the end, the result confirms the effectiveness and practicability of the new supplier evaluation index system by the software iModel and matlab.
