Global warming, melting glaciers, increasing extreme weather events, species extinction and other problems have sounded the alarm for all mankind who blindly pursue rapid economic development, thus ignoring environmental protection and causing ecological imbalance due to excessive waste of resources. The US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Draft Climate Data Disclosure Standards for Listed Companies proposes that future US listed companies should disclose their carbon emission levels and targets,as well as the impact of potential climate change issues on their business models and economic situation, when submitting their prospectuses, financial reports and annual reports. In this context,as one of the companies listed on NASDAQ in the United States, the headquarters of Company C must incorporate environmental factors into its operations and seek a balance between environmental benefits and economic benefits.Green supply chain management extends green environmental protection to all links to achieve a win-win management model of economy and environment. In green supply chain, suppliers,as the source of the whole supply chain, are also critical nodes of green supply chain management. Therefore, the establishment of a set of scientific and practical index system and methods for the evaluation and selection of green suppliers to achieve the optimal choice of suppliers can enable C company to provide stronger supply chain support for the whole group organization, and is of great significance for improving the core competitiveness of C company as a whole.First of all, this thesis describes the background of the topic, and determines the feasibility, main research direction and content of the study by referring to and studying the green supply chain theory, supplier evaluation and selection methods and other relevant literature.Secondly, according to the idea of green supply chain management, this thesis studies the international and domestic green supplier evaluation index system, understands the current situation and main practices of C company’s supplier evaluation and selection through interviews, and analyzes its shortcomings. Therefore,a set of multi-level,complete and practical green supplier evaluation and selection index system is designed for Company C specifically, which is in line with the actual situation of the company, including five first-level indicators, including company ability, cost, quality, service and energy saving and environmental protection.Considering the uncertainty and fuzziness of human subjective judgment, the index weight is obtained by fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, and the alternative suppliers are sorted by the good and bad solution distance method. Thus,C company can complete the process of selecting green suppliers. Finally,C Company was selected as the research object to evaluate and select three vinyl self-adhesive product suppliers for empirical analysis, further verifying the reasonable feasibility of the evaluation index system and selection method.Through the application of FAHP-TOPSIS evaluation and selection model,on the basis of traditional supply chain management mode and indicators, energy saving and environmental protection indicators are added to establish a green supplier evaluation index system suitable for C company according to the actual situation of the company, and optimize the evaluation and selection process of C company’s suppliers from the perspective of green supply chain. The whole process is more fair, just and transparent,so that C company,a global procurement enterprise, can make supplier selection decisions more scientifically and effectively, which not only helps to enhance the corporate brand image and product competitiveness, but also enriches the theory of green supply chain management, which is of great value to similar companies and society...
