A Study On Green Supplier Evaluation And Selection Of S Company

In 2013,S company launched the mark of green product certification in China and committed to creating a "green product".As we know,the supplier selection directly affects the quality and green degree of the products.S company is facing the biggest challenge that how to choose the best green supplier when implementing the green product certification mark.At present,S company still adopts the traditional supplier evaluation criteria system and cannot judge the green degree of supplier.It's obvious that the existing evaluation system can not meet the needs of company.How to determine the appropriate green supplier in the supply chain has become an important strategic issue for S company.In order to solve the problem of green supplier selection for S company,this study builds a green supplier evaluation system.The current supplier evaluation criteria of S company only includes traditional criteria,such as quality,price and logistics,and ignores green criteria,such as environmental performance.Firstly,a set of conventional and green supplier selection criteria are identified from the green product certification standards of S company,environmental protection laws and policies,the existing literature,industrial green suppliers' selection standards.Then the initial system is modified and supplemented to build the final evaluation system based on the expert interview and empirical investigation.Besides,a model is used to verify the effectiveness of the indicator system.This thesis uses fuzzy language theory and expert analysis method to define the weight of decision makers and evaluation criteria.After discussing and comparing the supplier selection methods,this thesis finally choose grey relational analysis to complete a green supplier evaluation and selection study for S company.This thesis takes selecting the green supplier of motor as an example.Through comparing the results of this evaluation with the decision results of S company in reality,the validity of the supplier selection method is verified.In addition,through the sensitivity analysis of criteria weight,the advantages of green suppliers become more obvious as the weight of green evaluation criteria increase.Based on the above results,some relevant suggestions are put forwarded for S company in the end.
