Research And Application Of Project Schedule On New Product Introduction In Assembly-type Manufacturing Company

With the rapid development of economic globalization, manufacturing industry is transferred massively across the world, many Assembly-type Manufacturing Company have sprung up. Its manufactory mode is different from the regular model. The traditional organization mode can't satisfy the development demands. Project organization structure and management model must be adapted. As the project management model applying on using at package and assemble production is no long enough, and many problems still exists. Such as new product localization is not easy, facing adaptability problem, unreasonable schedule. It cause actual project schedule to exceed project plan, missing best time in a competitive market, leads to losses.Here the author would like to introduce an A type NPI project schedule management in a assembly-type manufacturing company. In the paper, the author analysis an existing problem at SW type NPI project and expect for project schedule management, then the author apply project schedule management to A type NPI project. In the process of project application research, the author adopt some tools and approach of project management including milestone plan, WBS,PERT,,Single code network diagram, critical chain and etc. Through these tools and approach, the author apply WBS and introduce schedule factor, then analyze, recognize and control critical chain. Finally A type NPI project reach the expected project lead-time..Based on the study, the author presents some suggestion from the aspects of organizational structure, HR utilization and project communication and cooperation. It provides some reference for a stable, reliable, scientific project management system and processes,and improve efficiency of the project management.
