Research On The Development Of Characteristic Agriculture In Luzhou

At present, Chinese economy and society are faced with transformation and upgrading, under the trend, Chinese agriculture also need to change the traditional extensive mode of production in the past into intensive and efficient modern agriculture, agricultural development in the process of economic and ecological benefits of the dual can go hand in hand in harmony. The characteristic agriculture is a new way to upgrade Chinese agriculture, which not only can bring income to farmers, promote the prosperity of the rural economy, but also can inject vitality into agriculture, revitalize agriculture, and transforming agriculture into prominsing sunrise industry. Development of characteristic agriculture creates a new way for agriculture in different regions, each area with its own resources continues to developing their strengths and advantages, making strengths and advantages bigger and stronger, thus forming a new industry or industrial clusters, and ultimately drives the entire region's economic takeoff. Therefore, the development of characteristic agriculture is a solution to the "three rural" issue and urban-rural dual confict, so it has very important practical significance.This paper's research area is the whole range of Luzhou, and it's research object is the development of agriculture in Luzhou. First of all, it introduces the concept and theoretical basis of characteristic agriculture. Then it analyzes the current situation of the development of characteristic agriculture in Luzhou, mainly from two aspects:the basic condition and the development situation of characteristic agriculture. Then taking advantage of the comparative advantage method to analyze Luzhou's agricultural leading industries, and identifing these industries'advantage situtation. And then, combined with the basic condition, development situation, leading industries'comparative advantage of characteristic agriculture to analyze the problems existing in the development of characteristic agriculture in Luzhou. In current stage, Luzhou develops characteristic agriculture mainly existing these problems, including lack of agricultural product development, lower characteristic brand awareness, low level of agricultural industralization, low level of labor quality, lack of finacial support for agriculture, imperfect agricultural risk control mechanism. Finally, based on the previous research putting forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, primarily from these six aspects, including promote further development of agricultural products, strengthen agricultural brand construction, promote industralization management, increse the support of characteristic agriculture, improve agricultural risk prevention and control mechanism, to put forward suggestions. I hope that these results of the analysis presented in this paper can provide some reference and guidence for Luzhou's characteristic agriculture, and provide some reference and guidance for the other areas with similar conditions of Luzhou about developing characteristic agriculture.
