Study On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Characteristic Agriculture In Jiyang County

Characteristic agriculture is a modern agriculture characterized by unique brand products in the region,which mainly to transform the agricultural resources that are not available in other areas into products with local characteristics.The concept of characteristic agriculture arises in the condition that agricultural economy in our country has developed to a certain degree,its purpose is to explore the comparative advantage among different areas,and develop the local unique agricultural products in line with its competitive advantages,so as to achieve the goal of increasing economic benefits for farmers.Over the past years,Jiyang correctly recognize their own advantages on geography and resource,making efforts to develop "a town in Fujian",constantly improve the income level of people,and to create a new highlight for it.At present,although the development of characteristic agriculture in Jiyang county has made great progress,there are still many problems,which also restricts the rapid development of agricultural economy in the whole county to some extent.Therefore,if people want to realize the sound and rapid economic development of Jiyang county,all the work should be conducted based on the town and village,give full play to the unique advantages of different regions,to overcome the deficiencies,and make a perfect development strategy,finally,develop the characteristic agriculture greatly.This paper defines the concept of characteristic agriculture,analyses its features and some theories related to it,based on the theory,the paper also analyses the advantages and present situation of Jiyang county in developing characteristic agriculture,and then elaborates the local characteristic planting,breeding,forestry,food processing in detail,introduces the overall situation of Jiyang's agricultural development and highlighted the special products among different types.Besides,with the deep analysis of the cherry tomatoes in the crib stone town,and then summarizes Jiyang's developmental advantages in the area of standardized agricultural production,brand construction,base construction and production and marketing mode that represented by the cherry tomatoes in Buttress Stone Town.At the end of this paper,it reveals the insufficient funds,old techniques for cultivating,single marketing methods and low brand awareness of Jiyang's agricultural development,which also reflects that the people of this county are lack in deep processing,and their industry value chain is short.In order to solve these problems,there are many countermeasures and suggestions are proposed,such as raising capital in multichannel,accelerating the breed of improved variety based on the science and technology,enhancing the brand effect of characteristic agricultural products,extending industrial chain,and improving products' added value by deep processing,give full play to their role of professional cooperatives,cultivating modern new farmers,strengthen the popularizing of agricultural technique,etc,in the hope of Jiyang county always maintain its vitality in developing agricultural economy.
