The Development Of Rural Tourism Land Use

The development of the rural tourism begun to take shape, and showed a trend of diversity since China Rural Tourism Year(2006), which has became a new economic growth point in China. Rural tourism is preferred by the government and farmers who are come from rural areas because of its powerful economic, social and environmental functions. But the land needs the help of rural tourism to achieve sustainable use of land as a non-renewable natural resources. However, many problems occurred about land utilization in many rural areas, which is not conducive to the sustainable development of the rural tourism.So, how to deal with the relationship between rural tourism development and land utilization plays an important role in local rural tourism..This study is based on the policy of environmental protection and transformation of Shanxi Province, take Wuxiang County as an example which is the national poverty-stricken counties in the Taihang Mountains, and meantime its tourism industry is better. The research focus on the linkage between rural tourism industry and land utilization, analyzed by the means of literature、investigation qualitatively and quantitatively. Firstly, the paper combs the theoretical system about the lingkage between rural tourism and land utilization from the perspective of the lateral. Secondly, analysis the basic conditions of rural land utilization and the development of rural tourism from the perspective of longitudinal. Then the current situation of Rural Tourism is discussed from the physical geography、social economy、land use three aspects. Based on this, the paper discusses in the linkage between the Rural Tourism Development and Land Use in depth from land resources, land transfer, land remediation three angles of view, serviced in tourism products. Finally, Reflections and Prospects get on. In writer’s opinion, rural tourism land-use planning is very important, especially full investigation on the rural land quality and structural conditions before Exploitation; The problems in land transfer should be attached great importance in the development of rural tourism, give full play to the leading role of the government, the main role of ownership and the role of the villagers; the obvious economic, social and environmental benefits should be promoted actively, which is generated by the linkage between rural tourism and land remediation; Raising the public awareness of the importance of land remediation and improve the relevant legal system, so that the development of land use and rural tourism are harmonious and sustainable.
