With the increasing of urban population,as of the end of 2014,China's urbanization rate has reached 54.77%,which shows our country has been in the stage of rapid development of urbanization.The rapid growth of population directly leads to the increase of traffic demand.However,the construction speed of infrastructure,such as conventional public transport,is slower than the growth rate of urban population.At the same time,with the increasing number of private cars,car-based travel is undoubtedly a greater challenge to the green travel environment.To effectively alleviate the pressure of road traffic,many domestic cities join the ranks of the construction of rail transit.But rely on the expansion of transport supply not only unable to effectively solve the problem of urban traffic congestion,and may lead to further deterioration of urban traffic environment.The reason is that land is the carrier of traffic,neglecting the influence of the land use on the rail transit traffic volume and the guiding role of rail transit to the urban development will further aggravate the contradiction between traffic supply and demand.Therefore,from the perspective of mutual relationship,to analyze the coordination relationship between rail transit and land use has important practical significance.Firstly,from the theoretical level,this paper respectively analyzes the interactive relationship between urban rail transit and urban spatial structure,urban rail transit and land use along the lines.On the basis of this,the content of coordination and development goals are explained in details.Secondly,from the empirical level,the paper builds the corresponding evaluation index system from the coordinated development goal,namely intensive utilization of land and construction level of rail transit.And the method of data envelopment analysis(DEA)is applied to evaluate the coordination relationship between the urban rail transit and land use in Beijing from 2001 to 2014.The results show that:on the whole,the two fail to achieve coordinated development.The coordinated development index changes in the form of U-shaped.That is,the coordinated relationship between urban rail transit and land use experiences a coordinated-uncoordinated-coordinated development stage.And from the perspective of evaluation system and decision making unit,the paper points out the reasons for uncoordinated development between both.Finally,on the basis of clarifying the coordinated development level of urban rail transit and land use,this paper puts forward some corresponding improvement suggestions from two points that includes the intensive utilization of land and the construction level of rail transit.
