With the continuous development of urbanization,more and more urban traffic problems are becoming more and more obvious.The city expands outward in disorder,the direction of development is not clear,which seriously affects the travel efficiency and land use rate of residents.Therefore,in order to further solve the problem of residents' travel,the construction of rail transit has become a new trend of urban development.Urban rail transit,including metro,light rail,fast rail,tram and other means of transport.From the experience of rail transit construction in developed countries,under the constant influence of market effect,around the rail transit station can spontaneously form a mixed functional core with functions of commerce,office,entertainment,leisure and residence,and gradually form the public center of the city.The convenience of rail transit makes the land value around the station higher and higher,which affects the structure of urban function to a certain extent.Therefore,people pay more and more attention to the great role of urban rail transit in urban development.Starting from the interactive relationship between rail transit and land development and utilization along the line,this paper studies the role of rail transit in optimizing urban spatial structure,and analyses the relationship between rail transit and urban land use in Dalian.Starting from the practical problems of the development of Dalian's central urban area,this paper optimizes the urban spatial structure of Dalian with the help of rail transit skeleton and TOD as the core model.To achieve the coordinated development of rail transit and urban functions,and truly effectively promote the optimization of urban spatial structure,traffic optimization,market as a guide force to promote urban renewal and evolution in Dalian.By adjusting the land use along rail transit,such as adjusting the development intensity,function combination,development timing and P+R,we can effectively guide the development of urban functions around rail stations,and achieve a series of goals,including the introduction of new areas,population and function relief of old areas.Taking different types of rail transit stations as examples,this paper conducts in-depth planning and design research.
