Research On Manufacturing Advantage Industry Of Guangdong Province Under The New Trend Of International Technology

Currently,with the introduction of German "Industry 4.0" strategy and "China Manufacturing 2025" strategic plan,the depth integration of information technology and manufacturing technology is changing the manufacturing development concept and development model,global manufacturing will enter the "Industry 4.0 era".Integration of science and technology and industry is creating significant technological change and industrial revolution.Technological innovation and technological progress have become the dominant force in promoting economy restructuring,optimizing and upgrading industrial structure.Guangdong is one of manufacturing industry gathered place in our country,and the level of competitiveness of its manufacturing industry has a large impact on our overall level of industrial competitiveness.However,with the changes of the international economic environment,Guangdong's manufacturing industrial faced serious problems;for example,the level of manufacture industry is very low,technological innovation ability is weak and so on.The key to solve these problems is to grasp the new development trend of science and technology to promote technological innovation vigorously,and to promote the rapid transformation and upgrading of Guangdong's manufacturing industries.Firstly,this paper will analyze the new trend of world science and technology and the advantage of manufacturing industry,and note practical significance and deficiencies of previous studies;secondly this paper will integrate with the international trend of new technology to analyze present situation of Guangdong Province,and use Comparative analysis to research the Guangdong Provincial Science and technology input and output in the manufacturing sector;thirdly this paper will use factor analysis and econometric model with 14 competitiveness index to have empirical research on the competitiveness of 30 industries in Guangdong province.And fourth this paper will objectively analyze the problems and challenges of manufacturing industries in Guangdong Province,with emphasizing the advanced science and technology and technological innovation ability to develop manufacturing advantages.Finally,this paper will propose some countermeasures and suggestions to develop science and technology to promote Guangdong manufacturing industries.The empirical results show that,petrochemical,automobile,transportation,electronic information,medicine manufacturing capital and technology-intensive industry have competitive advantages;beverage,food and other labor-intensive manufacturing and non-metallic mineral products industry,ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry and some other resource-intensive and polluting industries lost competitive advantage;automotive,medical,electronics and other high-tech industry have effective competition whose competitiveness ranking more forward.Therefore,raising the level of science and technology and technological innovation capacity in manufacturing industry is the source of future industry to remain competitiveness,also is a necessary mean to promote industrial upgrading and structural adjustment.
