Chinese culture has a long history. Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is the most significant way to spread Chinese excellent culture and language. Therefore,culture teaching has great significance in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Education. What to teach and how to learn make the teaching materials important both to the course and the teaching. In this case, there always exists so much debate in the culture programs of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language about its quantity and sequence in teaching materials. At present, the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Education in China is committed to its textbooks' development,compilation and revision as well as the research on the teaching materials.Throughout the present research, textbook compiling theory and empirical research are still weak relatively which may affect the scientificity of teaching material construction and ultimately affect the implementation of the curriculum.This paper mainly adopts several methods such as literature method,comparative method and statistical analysis method and selects two sets of TCFL teaching materials in the universities of Guangdong province as research subjects. By generally collecting and arranging the cultural projects of these two sets of teaching materials, this paper systematically invests the selection of the cultural subjects.Through comparison of different versions of the teaching materials, this paper shows the present situation of the TCFL materials as well as its achievements and problems such as its lacking of vivid introduction and its simple display form. This paper contributes to the improvement of teaching efficiency and better accomplishes the teaching objectives.This paper indicated that the current foreign language teaching and culture project arrangement should be further studied in the following aspects: first, efforts should be made to enhance comprehensiveness of the senior Chinese textbook and cultural projects; second, consciously enhance the sequence of cultural items in the Chinese language teaching materials; third, strengthen the relationship between the cultural projects in senior Chinese textbook with the reality; fourth, fully achieve the diversity of the culture project in senior Chinese textbook; fifth, enlarge the weight of the Chinese contemporary culture; last, launch more important attention on the comparison of culture subjects in the senior Chinese textbook.
