There are many kinds of complement,in which the degree complement is a more complex component.Given that there is no such component in English,it is more difficult to learn degree complement for foreign students whose mother tongue is English.For students affected by the characteristics of English grammar,they may often make mistakes.In view of the difference between Chinese and English,this paper analyzes the difference between them from three levels,based on the theory of comparative analysis.Three levels are grammatical structure,semantic structure and pragmatics.Through the comparative analysis,help the students understand and master degree complement better.On the study of the degree complement of foreign language teaching is relatively small.Combined with interlanguage and error analysis theory research,the paper mainly analysis and study the errors which foreign students make when they learn the complement of degree.And then the errors are divided into the following types: omission?misuse?misuse and other types of errors.In addition,the situation of students to avoid of using degree complement is discussed.For different types of errors,the cause of various types of errors are analyzed from the learners factors and teaching factors.The factors of learners are from the negative transfer of mother tongue,the knowledge of the target language and learning strategies.Based on the above research,this paper puts forward the comparative study of the degree complement in Chinese and English,and to cultivate students' rigorous learning habits and their interests in Chinese language.According to the theory and practice of dialectical materialism,a specific case is designed,and the teaching design is given.The paper is to better grasp the degree complement for foreign students and to learn Chinese better.
