Chinese short-term intensive teaching mode program can reflect the characteristics of Chinese teaching broadly. Domestic Chinese short-term program are mainly based on the Sino-foreign cooperative. Chinese foreign cooperation projects can be divided into two kinds, foreign-led program and Chinese-led program. By using the method of "comparative studies", the research is based on the two different Chinese short-term projects in Shaanxi Normal University(SNNU), with the survey about short-term program in domestic Chinese universities, proposed to make reasonable recommendations for the construction of teaching mode of the Chinese short-term program in the future:full use of class time, to develop clear teaching objectives, to formulate the teaching objectives according to the level of the students, the construction of teachers'team, teaching management specialization, seek efficient fixed operational processes and to establish a rigorous testing and evaluation system. When establishing the system, on the one hand, the evaluation for students should improve the relevance and systematicness. On the other hand, evaluation for teachers should seize the appropriate opportunity and feedback to the teachers timely, make it easy to adjust teaching strategies.The full text is divided into six parts, each part of the specific contents are as follows:The first part is an introduction, including presentation topics reason, purpose and significance, research status, research methods and ideas as well as features and innovation of this study.The second part analyzes the teaching model of the Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS). Ma Jianfei (2004) has proposed five elements of teaching model: Theory, teaching objectives, operating procedures, conditions and evaluation. Therefore, this paper would make description and analysis from the five aspects.The third part analyzes the teaching model of the Tasmania short-term project in Shaanxi Normal University (UTA & UNE). To describe and analyze from teaching philosophy, teaching objectives, achieve conditions, operating procedures and evaluation these five aspects.The fourth part is the comparison and analysis between the two projects, from teaching philosophy, teaching objectives, conditions, operating procedures and evaluation the five aspects.The fifth part presents the recommendations for future short-term teaching mode, it is based on the description and comparison of the two programsThe last part is the conclusion. To make a conclusion on this research.
