Comparative sentence is the frequently patterns, and one of the most basic sentence in modern Chinese. From the beginning of " MashiWentong ", almost every grammar books, or Chinese textbooks have studied or written on it. But the previous investigation mostly focus on the ontology research, the research about comparative sentence in Chinese textbooks is relatively little. Teaching materials is based on teaching, so Teaching Chinese as a second language (TCSL) is no exception. Textbooks reflect the concepts of teaching, forms and contents, students mainly through the textbooks to comprehend Chinese, learn Chinese knowledge, understanding Chinese culture and history etc. Therefore, the author thinks that it is very necessary to dissect the arrangement of comparative sentence in Chinese teaching materials. There are two reasons:First, we can clearly know the selection of comparative sentences in textbooks; Second, we can provide the effective helps for the students from overseas to correctly acquire the comparative sentences.During the teaching practice, the writer mainly teach the students of junior class, and teach them the elementary comprehensive course one semester. So I will have a certain understanding about the comparative sentences on primary textbooks. At the same time, I did some collections and thinking about the students how to learn the comparative sentences. Therefore, I choose the primary Chinese textbooks for foreign students as the study object, mainly analysis the order of writing, how to write the text, exercise, the frequency of using etc of comparative sentences in the textbooks. We need to give some suggestions to solve these problems.In this thesis, I select " New Practical Chinese reader textbook " (2nd Edition), "Developing Chinese" (2nd Edition), "Speeding-up Chinese", which the three sets of comprehensive course as the inspection basis. The way of study is mainly based on the teaching material, and analyze through combining with the syllabus and the results of questionnaire. The aim is on the basis of above research to put forward reasonable suggestions to solve these problems existing in the elementary teaching materials.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Chapter1 is the introduction part, mainly based on the documentation of the literature used to discuss the research process of comparative sentences, analysis the significance of this thesis, and explore what the purpose and methods, in order to lay the foundation for the comparative analysis as following.Chapter2We mainly study the comparative sentences how to selection and arrangement in primary Chinese textbooks. Namely the similarities and differences in three sets of comprehensive course about how to choose and arrange the comparative sentence. Then combine these textbooks with five syllabus are compared.Chapter3 is mainly according to the statistical results of the questionnaire, I will list six common kinds of errors when the students using comparative sentences. Then analyze and try to put forward suggestions of teaching, especially provide help for the Chinese teachers when they teach language in the classroom.Chapter4 is based on the comparison of the above three kinds of materials and the analysis of errors, list the advantages and disadvantages in Chinese textbooks. Then I try to put forward feasible suggestions from four aspects, how to choose and write the text content and writing, the grammar notes, designing of practice types, and the repetition rate of comparative sentences etc.Finally I mainly summarize this paper's content, and point out the deficiencies. The auther hopes that not discussions will cause more people's attention.
