The Coping Strategies Of Chinese English In Chinese-English Interpretation

In Chinese to English consecutive interpreting,interprers tend to follow original language.They often have the problem of Chinglish.To improve interpreting version,and reduce misinterpreting,it is necessary to do some research and solve the problem of Chinglish.This thesis presents the definition of Chinglish,and the differences between Chinglish and China English.It also introduces the causes and manifestations of the problem of Chinglish,and then analyses the consecutive interpreting of China's Progress in Human Rights in 2016 from CCTV interpreted by the author.According to the analysis,the corresponding strategies of solving Chinglish are concluded as follows: free translation,transforming,simplification,adding logical connectives,and attaching to modifiers.It is hoped that all of these methods can inspire interpreters and English learners to give a better version in interpreting.
