This research focused primarily on individual middle school students using qualitative methods.Researchers first conducted interviews based on a questionnaire survey approach,to reveal stress,pressure and other problems confronting middle school students.Further,by means of case study analysis,researchers explored the effectiveness of stick figures in helping to relieve middle school students' academic and personal pressures.The purpose of this research is to reveal and describe the practical effectiveness and procedures of stick figures in improving middle school students' adaptation to the learning process,and explored the effectiveness of this research method.This study selected real persons as research subjects,and employed induction techniques based on individual cases to develop new insights.The study focuses on typical incidents that subjects experienced in learning and in life.As such,the researcher is able to describe and analyze their emotions and pressure.Through observation,object analysis,and interviews,researchers found that the critical issues faced by Xiaoyun and Jian involved ego,family,classmates,emotion and academic stress.Subsequently,the paper discussed practices and strategies to improve middle school students' ability to cope with pressure through stick figure practice.By "drawing emotions with line",draw-a-tree(D-A-T),dynamic "kinetic-house-tree-person"(K-H-T-P)drawing and other stick figure counseling and evaluation process,the paper revealed the behavioral and cognitive processes of research subjects' adaptations under pressure.Moreover,management and usage of stick figures also contributed to researchers' practical experience and understanding of the theoretical foundations of painting therapy.Finally,the paper provided an analytical overview of the entire range of research undertaken in this study.Based on the changes in stick figures and interviews in the last stage of this research,the study showed how Xiaoyun and Jian changed and what they gained during the process.In seven months,as the research continued,the relationship between researchers and research subjects also experienced changes.The paper endeavored to focus on the impact of this relationship on the research,as well as highlighting the development and enhancement of researchers during this process.
