With the continuous progress of China's internationalization,Confucius institutes in various countries have been increasingly valued as an important platform to spread Chinese language and culture and enhance the world's understanding of China.As an important part of Chinese language teaching,the teaching of Chinese characters is placed in a prominent position.How to teach Chinese characters well has become the focus of many scholars.When I was a volunteer teacher in Pakistan Confucius institute,I used stick figure painting to assist the teaching of Chinese characters,and achieved good teaching results.Therefore,this paper discusses the application of stick figure painting in the teaching of foreign Chinese characters.Stick figure painting is often used by teachers at home and abroad to assist teaching,it can be directly expressed,has the characteristics of simplicity,image,interesting and full of artistic,in the improvement of teachers' teaching quality,increase classroom interest,enhance artistic teaching and other aspects have an important role.However,according to daily observation and understanding,as one of the teaching skills of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language,stick figure painting is not used in a high range and frequency and has not been really valued by the majority of Chinese teachers.This paper aims to propose that "stick figure painting is a practical teaching method in the teaching of Chinese characters in the primary stage of teaching foreign languages",and to explore the use of stick figure painting in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.This article first to the evolution of Chinese characters and the characteristics of brief strokes as the breakthrough point,the specific brief strokes in Chinese character component radical,DuTiZi,fit Chinese characters teaching,the application of brief strokes will practice at the same time in the hole school of Pakistan meilan Chinese classroom teaching,by hanban recommended the HSK tutorial 1 standard for teaching material,and the interpretation of illustrated to show brief strokes in the application of the teaching of Chinese characters.In the end,the paper tries to explore the advantages and disadvantages of stick figure painting in assisting the teaching of Chinese characters for foreign students,and proposes teaching strategies and Suggestions based on relevant problems,so as to provide reference for other volunteer teachers and contribute to the development of Chinese characters teaching for foreign students.
