Thematic teaching refers to the content as the carrier,the content of the text as the main body of a language teaching activities.It originated in the early 20 th century,presented by the University of Chicago.The theme of Chinese teaching is a kind of teaching mode which is specially applied in Chinese teaching.This paper introduces the application of thematic Chinese teaching in middle and high grade teaching with the background of American Chinese project.It elaborates from the aspects of teaching preparation,subject material selection,classroom teaching,teaching feedback and detection,teaching skill and so on,At the same time,the author uses the real teaching case to illustrate the strategy of the theme of Chinese teaching,the theme of teaching method as the core blend of cultural culture teaching method,the author in the United States CET academic project based on the practical experience to explore in the advanced Chinese teaching Subjective teaching mode,at the same time from the theme of teaching model embodied in the teaching theory and teaching results to prove the theme of the teaching model of the advantages and disadvantages.The full text is divided into part,the first part is the introduction,introduced the meaning of the proposition,innovation and research methods.The second part of the US Chinese project background pave the way for the later elaboration of the theme of teaching model to lay the foundation.The third part introduces the theme teaching and how to carry on the teaching design,the fourth part analyzes in detail the subject teaching method and demonstrates through the teaching case.The fifth part summarizes and reconsiders the theme Chinese teaching.
