Since the reform and opening up,in the context of China’s sustained economic development,society has entered a period of rapid transformation.With the advancement of urban and rural integration,the centralized resettlement community came into being.The emergence of large-scale centralized resettlement community has led to the increasing integration of rural areas and their villagers into the urban system.In this process,how to strengthen the community sense of belonging and recognition of these new urban residents,and how to achieve community harmony has become a major problem.With the development of China’s economy,community residents’ demand for basic living extended to a full range of community services.And in order to achieve community self-organization,self-management and self-development,the community empowerment has become a major hot spot in China.Simultaneously,social work as a professional service provider,there is a great significance for us to focused on the community empowerment in professional intervention.This article takes the intervention of social work in the community empowerment of centralized resettlement as the starting point for the study.With a combing of design,implementation,assessment work and other social work’s professional intervention process of G-community’s community empowerment project,it can summed up the experience to find the advantages of the intervention of social work in the community empowerment.Then to provide reference for the related activities in the future.In addition,there are some reflection for the focus and difficulties of intervention of social work,and for localization issues in social empowerment.Finally,there are some countermeasures and suggestions for the above reflection.
