Job burnout refers to the phenom enon of body abnorm alities or emotional exhaustion manifested in the work.The occurrence of job burnout seriously af fects the quality of e mployees' work.Township civil servants are the backbone of government functions as well as managers of public affairs.If they have job burnout or exhaustion,they not only endanger their personal health but also their organizational efficiency.The study on job bur nout of township civil servants helps to protect their mental and physical hea lth and then promote the development of public administration.Taking Qujing as an example,on the basis of studying two-factor theory and Maslow's theory of hierarchy of needs,this paper investigates the township civil servants in Qujing from the three dimensions of emotional exhaustion,dehumanization,and personal ineffectiveness by designing the questionnaire;.Through the research,it is found that the male job burnout of rural civil servants in Qujing is higher than that of fem ale,the job burnout is higher in those with low diploma than those with high diploma,the higher the job burnout is,the lower the job rank is,the higher the job burnout is.The reas on can be analyzed from three aspects: personal level,or ganization level and social level.Gender,personal orientation,imperfect promotion route,imperfect supervision mechanism,less social attention and so on are all the factors that af fect the job burnout of township civil servants the reason.In view of the above reasons,this paper proposes that civil servants should strengthen their own study and establish a correct professional outlook.The or ganization should improve the prom otion system and supervision mechanism,and the social sector should strengthen the positive propaganda and other countermeasures.It is hoped that this study can help to reduce the job burnout of township civil servants in Qujing City and also provide some reference for similar problems in other provinces and cities.
