In December 1979,The Japanese Prime Minister Masayoshi Ohira visited China and formally announced that Japan would provide government development aid to China.This also marks the beginning of aid to China for nearly 30 years.Before the end of the Cold War,both China and Japan were able to conscientiously abide by the policy of the policy and started economic cooperation and exchange for mutual benefits.The aid to China was also carried out in an orderly manner with the joint efforts of both sides.However,the post-Cold-War international changes and the impact of many factors have led Japan to implement two reforms and adjustments to its development aid policy toward the Chinese government.This has also gradually changed the "taste" of the aid to China.At the same time,After the Cold War,the relations between China and Japan have also been affected by the aid reform to China.Firstly,This article analyzes the background of Japan's government development assistance to China from three aspects: international,China and Japan,paving the way for the follow-up study;Secondly,it briefly reviews the overall situation of Japan's aid to China.Thirdly,Taking the post cold war as the starting point of time,it analyzes the reasons for the reform of Japan's aid to China,the formulation of policies,and the implementation of present situation of the aid to China in the early 1990 s and early 21 st respectively;At last,taking the process of two periods as the unit and the economic and political aspects as the main thinking points,it studies the impact of Japan's government development assistance to China how to affected the relations between China and Japan after the cold war.
