Continuing education is both the modern society to feature, and is the characteristics of the postmodern society. In recent years, our country has been paying more attention to strengthen the construction of teaching staff. On the subject of Twelfth Five-Years Plan of China, the issues about the teacher continuing education attracted the experts and scholars'attention again. I think this attention, on the one hand, is the reason of its very important significance. On the other hand, because what we have done is not good enough. At present, we have some increasing problems and contradictions for carrying out the Eleventh Five-year plan on teacher education to continue. Off-job continuing education for high school teachers is one of the main form. Along with the development of teacher's education to continue in our country, continuing education for the high school teacher is increasingly formalized and utilitarian. The present situation of the high school teacher continuing education for the off-job is also superficial form. Off-job learning education could not realize its real meaning very well.How to change this state and where the problem is, which is heart part of our study. In our country, training system of high school teacher's off-job continuing education is not clear, and no system is perfect. It is lack of the complete teacher's right affects of off-job continuing education, and lack of school funds, especially in support of long-term continuing education to teachers and so on. Therefore, research scope for the study is Beijing Dongcheng district in the south (the original Chongwen district). In this range the report also calls for more research on the current status and the needs of the present situation about high school teacher continuing education for off job. And then, introduce a question and put forward thinking.In this paper, using the method of literature, sampling investigation and interview method, analyzing the domestic and international related research, it summarizes definition and classes of the high school teacher continuing education for off-job and introduces a result of learning of the high teacher for off-job continuing education in Beijing dongcheng district in the south. Through the thorough investigation of data and various interviews, the study highlights the current status in carrying out and the needs of the present situation about high school teacher continuing education for off job. For important, combining with the actual quantity of teacher's work, we study the real situation and difficulty in their work, and study their psychological characteristics. And last analyzes the present problems of high school teacher's off-job continuing education in this area.Finally, based on my opinion and put forward thinking, I give advice and suggestions in order to promote the development of the regional high school teacher's continuing education effectively and teacher's professional development.
