Currently, China is undergoing a new period of all-round social transformation, which will inevitably lead to the transformation in terms of people's psychology, behavior and needs. While people's interest appeal and public service needs are becoming diversified, with an obvious trend of increasingly complicated contradictions and disputes. As the most direct platform to provide public service platform, the supply capability and level of the grassroots community is urgent to be improved. To establish the new model of harmonious community, which comprehensively satisfies new demands of general public, it is required to make responsibilities clearly of the main providers for the community service. As the community workers, which are considered as the subject of community service supply, are the direct executives of policy and control of service quality. To guarantee the effective enforcement of policy and consecutive improvement of service quality, the overall quality of community workers need to be actively ameliorated and improved, massive talents need to be kept through efficient incentive and therefore actively provide high and comprehensive quality service to grassroots communities.Chinese government are deepening reform in an all-round way of its administrative management system, delegating the focus of social management to lower level governments to speed up modernization. In order to better serve the people to grassroots level, it is essential to reform the management system of social units to the lowest level, and to clearly bear in mind that people are the core resources of social management reform. Based on the above mentioned background, this thesis explored the relation between community workers and the aim of improving community management service quality and creating harmonious family atmosphere. It also made analysis on the positioning of community workers'role in the process of community development to illustrate that traditional management mode of community should be replaced by creative new incentive mechanism to build a professional team of community workers with high quality and capability. Focused on the main line of making perfect of the incentive mechanism for community workers, the thesis explored largely on the current situation of incentive mechanism in communities to summarize by the means of survey the relation between job satisfaction and incentive mechanism, point out the problems, and make proposal of a more scientific, effective and targeted incentive measures, which will improve job satisfaction of community workers, and ensure the effective implementation of community work.This thesis includes six chapters:Chapter One, Introduction, the main comes the background information, purposes, significance, literature review, methods as well as the rough plans for study which are all that needs general explanation; Chapter Two, mainly expounds the related concepts, role and function of the community workers, and the theoretical basis of this paper; Chapter Three, relation between incentive mechanism and job satisfaction based on the survey and analysis of incentive measures and their level of importance; Chapter Four, the problems of current incentive measures of community workers and its causes; Chapter Five, the main part, provide suggestions of how a new incentive mechanism works based on the above mentioned conclusions and use references of mature and advanced theory on community management in developed areas home and abroad; Chapter Six, Conclusion, on the basis of reviewed the situation of the theory research and the need of the social practice, and study on incentive mechanism of community workers have been summarized.
