Using modernist popular music should be significant to the teaching.Modernist popular song can be a supporting role of teaching in high school. At first, music and literature have related links since ancient times. They have developed with each other. It should be a pity that they are separated. The contents of this paper include: the mass cultural value, literary value, music value, aesthetic value and negative effect of modernist popular songs. And then in this paper analyzes the auxiliary function of popular songs in Chinese teaching. On this basis, this paper is focusing on the use of popular songs in Chinese teaching combined with the Chinese teaching materials in Guangdong and appropriate popular songs. Popular songs are helpful to the understanding of the text and the mastery of knowledge. It can be used as reference book for language learning. It can be used as magic weapon of reciting poems. It can be used as the material of aesthetic teaching. It can be used as the reader to broaden their horizons. It can be used as chicken soup for the soul to inspire emotion. Popular songs not only can be used in classroom teaching, but also can be used in composition teaching. Through the practice of this teaching method, it is clearly to find that the effect is significant in stimulating students’ learning interest and activing classroom atmosphere. At the same time, the paper also puts forward some problems that should be paid attention to in practical application. It included we should make clear the auxiliary position of popular songs in language teaching, we can’t use too many popular songs in language teaching. The songs we selected should be suitable for the text.The use of popular songs in language teaching is not only suitable for the characteristics of the times, but also in line with the needs of contemporary students. This paper broadens the existing research ideas on this topic and explores the popular songs in language teaching in high school, so as to achieve the purpose of students’ happy learning and teachers’ pleasure teaching. |
