Ideological and political course is an irreplaceable course,which has the function of moral education.It has a unique role in promoting the comprehensive development of students,shaping healthy personality and cultivating high-quality talents for the society.Most high school students don’t value the course of ideological and political course,because of the effect of the society,school and family.Under the implementation of new curriculum reform and college entrance examination,to complete the mission of teaching,teachers only tend to focus on teaching knowledge but neglecting the cultivation of the interest in learning.In addition,some teachers don’t revolutionize the teaching concept.Vapidity and infusion education will result in losing the interest of ideological and political course.The way of teaching doesn’t benefit to comprehensive development of students,class management of teachers and impedes the complement of objective of teaching and moral education.In general senior high school,most students don’t have high interest and explicit motivation in learning.So,how to stimulate learning interest becomes a common concern of high school teachers gradually.Learning interest is the inner motivation of exploring knowledge to learners.Only if the interest in learning is stimulated,can we enable students to change the concept of learning to learn actively.The author made a scientific analysis based on the related data which were collected through making questionnaire survey of general senior high school students’ learning interest in ideological and political course and through interviewing all political teachers and some students of Dalian NO.25 Middle School.After the survey,the author get to know the status of learning interest in political lessons of general senior high school students from three dimensions: learning attitude,learning motivation and learning needs and then analyze the performances and main factors of the lack of learning interest.The specific performances of lack of learning interest are lack of motivation,lack of learning initiative and learning demand imbalance.Main influential factors of lack of learning interest include three main aspects.The first is the classroom management,including school management,teacher management ability,teaching methods,teaching contents and teacher-student relationship;the second,directed by the requirement of the college entrance examination,the utilitarian thinking from the family has a negative effect on ideological and political course;the third,coming with the positive impact brought by the development of social economy,science and technology,network,some prejudices come out in some people,leading to the relative low social identity of ideological and political course.Based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward the cultivation strategy of general senior high school students’ learning interest in ideological and political course,which needs joint efforts of three aspects: the classroom teaching management,the quality and ability of teachers and the home-school cooperation.Only in this way,can we effectively cultivate the general high school students’ learning interest in the ideological and political course,improve the learning burnout status,enhance the attractiveness of the class and improve the quality of teaching.At last we can truly implement and exert the function of moral education of ideological and political course,to improve the students’ ideological and moral quality,and to meet the needs of the socialist modernization drive of China.
