Nowadays,teachers and parents are attaches great importance to the traditional examoriented education excessively because of the great pressure of school entrance.But the physical and mental health of the students has been overlooked.And due to the sequential and periodic of the development of human beings,childhood is the social critical period of the gaining of learning quality and moral quality.Thus it is a rather important task to cultivate good self-management ability of students.Pupil need to learn to be self management.Compared to exam-oriented education,self management is a more important quality for future.It is also the guarantee of students' sustainable development.Therefore I try to research on the present status of pupils' self-management ability in Dalian,to find out the deep reason and to seek the solution.This research mainly adopts the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.250 students and 50 teachers in three primary schools in Dalian have done the questionnaire.And I also selected 10 students and 15 parents from grade 4,5 and 6randomly to do communicative interviews,to find out the reasons behind the questionnaire results,to make every effort to find out the real status of self-management of pupils in Dalian from different sides.The consulting related literature material and analysis of the results of the survey and interview show that the current senior primary school students have enough self-confidence of self-management.They have a certain enthusiasm in selfmanagement and certain practicality.But they don't have strong consciousness.They are willing to set examples and have a positive sense in subconscious.But problems still exist in the self management ability of elementary school students: they depend too much on groups,rely on their parents and teachers,and lack of independence and the ability to plan,lack of self learning ability;Self-discipline ability is poor,and are not good at self-reflection and self-awareness.Of course,in addition to the students themselves,teachers and parents have the following problems: too much care for children and arrange everything for them,overpursue graduation rates,pay little attention to students' emotion management,ignore students' all-round development.To solve the mentioned problems,the author analysis and find out the reasons,put forward the strategy: to strengthen the teachers' personality charm,to change the traditional concept of teachers and students and teaching mode,to make more direct communication with students,to perfect the training system,to strengthen the importance of students' self-management education,give full play to the child's subjective initiative,to encourage the practice of senior pupils self-management.This article is divided into six parts: the first part is the preface,expounds the research background,research significance and the definition;The second part is the related research both at home and abroad;The third part is the research method,illustrates the researchobjects and research methods;The fourth part is the results of the study and analysis,focusing on the questionnaire survey and interviews to arrange,through the data comparison,find out the existing problems,and concerned for the generalization of the existing problems and reasons analysis;The fifth part puts forward the strategies for the existing problems;The sixth is conclusion.
